Preparation tips prior Assessment

A guide on how to best prepare for assessment allowing you to follow your schedule. The article takes into account both planning a week a head as well as the day before assessment.

Preparations a week before testing

  • Inform guardians
  • Show video for student in the classrom to prepare them on what is about to happen. 

Preparations a day before the testing.

  • Set up the equipment in the room where the assessment is to take place. Ensure you have a quiet, suitable space and preferably chairs without wheels.

  • Update the Test Application if needed.

  • Log in to the Testing Application and make sure everything is ready and configue monitor, audio and eyetracker if necessary. When all icons in the upper right corner are green you are good to go! (except the blue cog which is used for changing the language of the scripted instructions within the application itself). 
  • Ensure all the students are listed ready for assessment at Step 1 of the test flow within the Test Application.
