[Equipment for performing assessment](https://info.lexplore.com/en/support/all-about-assessments?hsLang=en#equipment-for-performing-assessment) # Set up the equipment ## This is a guide on how to set up the equipment and position the hardware according to have it ready for Lexplore assessment. ### Setting up the equipment. **The Tobii Eye tracker magnets** need to be attached to the external display, positioning them centrally along the bottom of the screen frame. **The Tobii eye tracker** is then attached to the magnet that has been stuck on the bottom of the external display. When it is positioned correctly you will hear a small click. Then, insert the cable from the Tobii eye tracker into one of the laptop/PC’s USB ports. **The external monitor cable** should be connected to the laptop/PC.  Insert the display’s connection cable (HMDI or USB) into your laptop/PC. Ensure the display also has power by plugging in its power cord. This allows the Examiner to have eye contact while talking with the student, and gives them access to adjust the display to gain perfect positioning.
