Product Updates March 2024

We are thrilled to announce our latest release, which includes several features that our customers have been eagerly anticipating for quite some time. We are so happy to have this engaged customers that always help us make our service the best possible. Let's dive into the exciting updates:

EAL (English as an Additional Language) tagging:

One of the additions in this release is the ability to mark pupils as EAL (English as an Additional Language). We understand the importance of providing support for pupils who are learning English as a second language, and we're pleased to offer a solution that caters to this need.

  • Manual Tagging: You can now manually set the EAL status for each pupil, ensuring that their unique learning needs are properly recognised and addressed.
  • Excel Import: For added convenience and efficiency, you can also import EAL status information via Excel, making it easier to manage large sets of data.
  • Wonde Integration: For customers utilising the Wonde integration, EAL status will now be imported automatically, streamlining the process and ensuring accuracy.

Filter results on gender and EAL

In response to customer requests, we have added new filtering options for assessment results, allowing you to filter by gender and EAL status. We understand the importance of being able to analyse assessment data in a way that is meaningful and relevant to your specific needs, and these new filtering options provide greater flexibility and insight. Maybe it would be interesting to compare your classes on gender and EAL?

  • Gender filtering: You can now filter assessment results based on gender, enabling you to identify and analyse trends or patterns that may be relevant to specific groups of pupils. A pupil's gender is optional to set, so the filter options are Boy, Girl, Other, and Not specified.
  • EAL filtering: With the addition of EAL filtering, you can now easily track the progress and performance of pupils who are learning English as an additional language.

See EAL status and gender on each pupil

The EAL and gender of a pupil can of course also be seen in all views where pupils are listed. See the screenshots below of how it can look like:
