Product Updates - September 2025

This month’s release is all about the next step for reading assessment. On International Literacy Day, we announced our new online assessment with AI and eye tracking - making systematic reading development available through just a webcam. Alongside this milestone, we’ve also introduced Lexplore Flex, made quizzes easier to access, and added a new student import option for admins.

New: Online Reading Assessment 

The new online assessment runs directly in a browser using only a webcam, removing the need for additional hardware and making it easier to roll out in classrooms worldwide.

👉 Note for existing customers: This solution is being rolled out gradually and is not yet available in your Lexplore Portal. We will keep you updated on timelines and availability in your market.

Lexplore Flex – Assessments for Everyone

With Lexplore Flex, anyone can now start an assessment directly at
lexplore.com/flex and purchase the report. This makes it possible to access a Lexplore reading assessment without needing a school account.

Easier Access to Quizzes

Quizzes are now easier to access: when a student finishes reading a book that has a quiz, reaching the last page of the book will automatically make the quiz available. This gives students a smoother transition from reading to comprehension practice. 

Student Import for User Admins

User admins can now import student data directly, saving time and reducing manual work when setting up or updating classes.
