Can Lexplore be used for children who are learning English as an additional language?

Pupils learning English as an additional language can participate in the screening but cannot be tested in their native languages. Read more here.

The reason is that the percentile scores are based on the national average of the country in which the pupil attends school. Screening English language learners offers valuable insights into both achievement and progress.

You can see how well English language learners read as compared to same-aged peers, as well as track individual progress by looking at pupils’ Lexplore scores.
