From what devices can a pupil access the Reading App?

Here we list the devices, operating systems, and browsers that provide the best reading experience for a student who wishes to log in to the Reading Diary.

The best reading experience the pupils will get on a laptop, stationary computer, or tablet.

The app may work on a smartphone but it's not a guarantee since e-books not always are able to adjust the size of the text and menus to fit the size of the screen. Therefore it can be difficult to navigate and read from a smartphone.

The device the pupils are using has to be updated and compatible with the latest or second latest version of the operating system and web browser.

The operative systems compatible with the Reading app are:

  • iOS, Android
  • Chrome OS
  • macOS
  • Windows.

Browsers compatible with the Reading app are for example:

  • Safari
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge.

If you are experiencing difficulties logging into the Reading Diary, It's a good idea to check if your device's operating system and browser are up-to-date, as well as ensure you are using the operating system and browser mentioned above.
