      Reading of the texts.

      1. Give the pupil full instruction by following the script provided in the Testing Application and answer any questions before you start recording. For the pupil's results to be as accurate as possible, it is important that the recording only captures the pupil reading and nothing else.
      2. When you are both ready, press ‘Start recording’ in the bottom right of the screen.
      3. You will know when the Application is recording as a red banner appears above the pupil's eyes moving over the text. Try to watch the Application screen rather than look directly at the pupil as they read so they are not distracted by your gaze.
      4. As soon as the pupil has read the last word, press the ’Next’ button or the space bar on your laptop or PC to stop the recording. Not stopping the recording fast enough can impact the results. Ending the recording quickly ensures you get the most accurate results.
