Welcome to the November product updates from Lexplore!
This month brings clearer book details, better insights across school years, and more reliable Web Assessment positioning.
Follow previous and future years in Grade View
It’s now possible to see results from previous and future years in Grade View. This makes it easier to compare the same pupils’ progress over time.
Lix value now shown on each book card
Finding the right book just became easier.
You can now see the LIX value directly in each book card, giving a quick indication of the text difficulty while browsing. This helps teachers and librarians compare options and select books that match pupils’ reading levels more accurately.
Web Assessment: Improved positioning guidance
To ensure accurate recordings in Web Assessment, we’ve strengthened the positioning guidance before each test:
• A red/green positioning guide appears before all parts (RAN, Text 1, Text 2).
• The test cannot be started until the pupil is correctly positioned (green/OK).
This makes it easier to assist pupils without interrupting the flow and reduces the risk of unusable recordings.
