The eye trackers that are used during Lexplore Assessments, and together with Lexplore Testing Application are from Tobii. Here you find the specifics about the models that is compatible with our software.
The eye tracker sends out infrared light. The light is reflected in your eyes. Those reflections are picked up by the eye tracker's cameras. Through filtering and calculations, the eye tracker knows where you are looking. The eye tracker can detect the presence, attention, and focus of the user.
This is relevant to the Eye Tracker that will be used together with Lexplore Testing Application:
- Lexplore Testing Application is compatible with the models Tobii Eye Tracker 4C and/or Tobii Eye Tracker 5L
- This device is connected to the laptop with USB 2.0
- It’s mounted to the external monitor with a magnet that comes with the eye tracker.
The model of your eye tracker is stated at the back of the device.
Lexplore requires the installation of Tobii Service software for the eye tracker to work. This is an MSI package that requires Administrative privileges to install. We recommend our customers distribute this through a software center.
