How do I add a student in the Lexplore Portal?

You can easily add students one by one to a class in the Lexplore portal. When filtered on a class you click the cog that appears in the top right corner to get to the admin page for that class. The full guide on how to do this is available here

There are three ways of adding new students to the Lexploreportal:

Add a student manually in the Lexplore portal:

  1. Log into Lexplore Portal and select the class the student will be added to.
  2. Once you have chosen a class, click on the cog that appears in the upper right corner.
  3. You will be directed to the page for settings. Click "ADD STUDENT".


  4. A window will open, fill in the student information as required.
    1. Mandatory fields are:
      1. First name, Last name, Date of Birth, Unique ID and Year (Grade for USA schools)
    2. Optional fields:
      1. Gender and Email. 
  5. Exit by clicking “SAVE”. The student will then be visible in the class list. 

You must add the Date of Birth as Year/Month/Day, but when you save the record, the data will be adjusted and presented in the format used in each country.

e.g. In the US, it will appear as Month/Day/Year, while in the UK it will appear as Day/Month/Year.
