As a municipal/Academy Trust customer at Lexplore also use Skolon, you have the opportunity to activate the integration of students and teachers. An integration with Skolon from your SIS automates updates about students and teachers to Lexplore
An integration between Skolon and Lexplore provides automated imports of students and/or staff. What happens is that Skolon retrieves ordered data from your source data system and then package that so Lexplore can retrieve it from Skolon. This is a process that greatly facilitates the administrative work.
Setting up this integration is possible for:
- Current customer at Lexplore
- Who manage student import manually with excel spreadsheet.
- Who have had another active SIS integration.
- New Lexplore Customers with no previous record of student import
Depending on previous method for student import, the start up process for activating the Skolon integration can vary in time and resources. This will be informed once a license is requested and we have had a look at the pre-requisites.
Make a license request at SKOLON
To activate this integration, you first make a request with Skolon. This goes for both existing and new customers.
In Skolons portal you make a request for the tool Lexplore. Also, you choose what schools and year groups to include. When the request is made, we (at Lexplore) are notified and will reach out. You can make a request for year group 1-9
