Student Admin page for student management

On the admin page for each student you can add and edit some of their personal information, mark them with EAL, find login link to reading app. Also, move the student to another class or school or delete the student.

To get to the Student Admin page do the following:

  • Find the student in the class list and click on their name .



  • When you are at the students individual activity feed/record of reading activities and assessments; Click the cog in the upper right corner.



  • The Admin-page for the student have a meny with Titles "Settings" and "Login link", where you can do the following;
    • Settings; add and edit personal information, add the EAL status to the student, move the students to another class, or mark the student as a leaver.
      • Se example image below. Please note: this is just a made up student in our Demo organisation, so no real personal information is on display)
      • Edit of personal information and Tick box for EAL.

If your organisation has an active integration(sync) with the organisations Student information system and Lexplore via one of our integrationpartners, then you cannot manually edit a student's details. A student's details will then be automatically updated in Lexplore once a change has been made in the source system. 

      • Move student: use drop down scroll list to choose what school and then class the student should be moved to. Also remember the Year. When all fields are selected you click MOVE. The student and any recordings are moved immediately

        Note:  If you are moving a student to a class in another school within the same organisation, you will need to have permission in both school as either ambassador or Examiner. 
        If you are moving a student between classes in the same school, you need Lexplore Examiner role for both or all classes in that school

      • Mark as Leaver: If the student has left the organisation you can Mark them as leaver by clicking this button and then confirming your choice.

When a pupil is marked as a leaver, but from a class or also from the organisation the student will remain in the previous school as a leaver. With this status, they will be greyed out in the class list. 
The reason for this is to facilitate the handover between the two schools. If you wish to remove the leaver, you need to delete the student from that class.

After 90 days(or other limit set by your organsiation) the students name will be anonymized in the class list.


    • Login Link: Login link to the personal Lexplore Reading App.
      • Copy the link and either share it with the student. The student copy it and then paste in the browser to access the reading app.

 

β‡’ Due to data privacy policy, it is not possible to move a student within Lexplore to another organisation, i.e. another Academy Trust or another municipality if the new school does not exist within the same license in Lexplore.
