I can not login to Lexplore

This is a support guide for those of you knowing you have an active account. You have previously confirmed an account and been logged on to Lexplore but now experience obstacles when trying to log in.

Is this your first time logging into Lexplore? - If so, please check your email inbox for an invitation that will allow you to create a new account.  Read more here; How do I accept my Lexplore Portal invitation?

Have you previously had an account but haven't logged in for more than 600 days? Then you need to ask your school's Lexplore ambassador for a new account.

If you already have an account that you are trying to access but see the following message or similar, follow the guide below:

Step-by-step guide to solve login problems

  • Check your email adress
    • Is the spelling of the email address correct, including the domain? go through the spelling and check for typos or missing dots/too many dots.
    • Did you change your email address recently? Perhaps you have changed your last name also affecting a name change in email since last time logging on? If you need to edit your Lexplore user please contact your designated Lexplore ambassador or user administrator to help you edit your user in Lexplore. 
  • Organisational changes in email addresses?
    • Did your organisation changed their login method or the domains of the email addresses? Contact your designated Lexplore ambassador or user administrator help you edit your user in Lexplore. 
    • If your organization has a Single Sign-on solution with for instance Skolon, Office 365 or Google, the email address of your Lexplore user needs to be the same as the one registered to your user on your Single Sign-on solution.
  • Check browser, and clear the cache in your browser
    • We recommend using Google Chrome when launching our website and portal.
    • If you have used Chrome previously for log on to Lexplore, you can start by clearing your browsing history to remove any old login links.
    • Once you have cleared your browsing history, go to the Lexplore Portal:  portal.lexplore.com

NOTE: If you have had you Lexplore ambassador or user administrator edit anything in your email adress, or you have have a new user for Lexplore, clearing cache and cookies in your browser before new log on is always a good idea. 

If none of the above works, Contact your designated Lexplore ambassador or user administrator help you delete your Lexplore user account, refresh the page and then create a new user account for you. Remember you will then need to accept a new invitation in order to confirm the account.
