What to think about for students with a protected identity

Here is a short guide on how to think about handling students with protected identities in Lexplore.

There are a few different options for conducting the test for students with a protected identity, the important thing is to follow your organization's own routines and policies, and then try to apply them to how you can facilitate the work in Lexplore. Here are some things to think about:

  • The student can be added to the class list if they have a temporary social security number.
  • If you are going to assess a student with a protected identity, make sure microphone is turned off.
  • If the student is included in the class list with a different name, you can test the student.
  • If the student is not available on the class list, but you still want to assess them: Log into the training school you accessed when doing your Lexplore Examiner Course. Here you can select one of the fictional students or create one for yourself and use that name to test the student with a protected identity.
