We are pleased to inform you about the latest updates of our platform, aimed at providing you with a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience. These updates are designed to offer valuable tools for both readers and educators. Here's what's new:
Expanded filtering options in the library:
We understand that finding the right book can sometimes be like finding a needle in a haystack. That's why we've introduced new filtering options to help you refine your search. Now, you can easily filter books based on:- Various topics such as sports, nature, animals, horror, humor and more.
- If the book is marked as "easy to read" or not
- Book series
All metadata, as well as the actual books, are synced in from our partnered publishers, but undergoes thorough quality checks by Lexplore before publication.

Age-based book recommendations:
In response to user feedback and industry standards, we have updated our book recommendation system.
Book recommendations are now based on the actual age of the pupil instead of its age group since this is the way books are mostly sorted in libraries. Book recommendations are still of course based on the books difficulty and the pupil's reading ability, but the pupil's age is also an important factor to find books of interest.
In line with this, the filter has changed name from age group to age (interest).

Assessment notifications to class teachers:

- We have introduced a new feature to facilitate better communication between our platform and educators.
- Class teachers will now receive email notifications when new assessment results are available for their class.
- This feature aims to empower teachers in all subjects with information about every child's reading ability to better support their pupils at the right level.
